SYNOPSIS
Shivani (Madhuri Dixit), an airhostess working for Air India, is betrothed
to Ashok (Deepak Tijori), a pilot with the same airline. One evening Vijay
Agnihotri (Shah Rukh Khan), a superrich businessman, notices Shivani and
falls in love with her. He tries every trick in the book to impress her
but without result. He finally convinces his mother to accompany him to
the Shivani's house to formally propose marriage.
When they arrive they are shocked to see her getting married to Ashok.
Vijay is shattered. Four years later Vijay his obsession with Shivani continues
and when he realises that she will never love him, he plays a vicious trick
on her. He kills her husband and child and gets her arrested by the police.
After this tragic incident, Shivani becomes a changed woman. When she is
released from jail she goes back to helping mentally retarded children.
One day, in the hospital she is shocked to see Vijay, who is now a mental
wreck. She romances him and helps him to come to his senses only to take
revenge on him. Similarly, she extracts her revenge upon all those who have
troubled her.
